Getting Started with FlyWise: From Sign-up to Your First Flight
With FlyWise you can log your first flight within minutes of signing up. Just follow along.
1. Sign up
Sign up with email or a social account. If you use email, click the link in the verification email to activate your account.
2. Set up your profile
The first time you log in, an onboarding step helps you set your username (handle) and basic profile. Optional details such as your home region can be left blank.
3. Register equipment (optional)
During onboarding, or later from the Equipment menu, you can add your glider, harness, and reserve. Manufacturer and model fill in fast via catalog autocomplete. Registering equipment lets you link a wing to each flight and track its lifecycle. See the equipment management guide for details.
4. Log your first flight
Use IGC upload in the sidebar to add a flight file, and takeoff/landing, airtime, track, and altitude fill in automatically. How to get an IGC file off your device is covered in Logging Flights Automatically with IGC Files.
5. Check your dashboard
As records add up, the dashboard shows your cumulative stats and monthly trends. (Dashboard & stats)
