ADVANCE XI — A Light High B, Agile in Narrow Thermals

For a pilot looking for a high B light enough to carry up the hill or take traveling, the XI is worth a test flight early on. The thing to weigh is roll feel. The XI tells you more about the air than the Mentor 5 does, which suits pilots who use that information to work narrow thermals; a pilot who would rather the wing move as one block may be happier on the Mentor 5.
