BGD Epic 2 (65-85) — An Easy Low B with a Fast Trim

The Epic 2 suits a pilot leaving school and choosing a first personal wing. The forgiving launch and brakes make it easy to settle in, and its float in weak thermals and its trim speed are enough to start flying weekend XCs. The trade-off shows on strong days: it takes a little longer to settle into a strong core, and above 3 m/s a high B like the Rush 6 moves through the air faster. If you often fly strong days with pilots on high Bs, factor that gap in.
