PHI Maestro 21 — A High B with Short, Precise Brakes

The Maestro is too much for a first B, and still too much after one short season on a first low B. A pilot with a season on a high B will get plenty of feedback from it that helps with the later step to higher-rated wings, while a C or D pilot gets a B-certified wing for XC. The smaller 19 also calls for a solid high-B pilot. It gives up float in very weak air to the Swift 5, so it suits sites with strong thermals better.
