For a pilot who already handles the Base with ease in varied conditions, the Cure is a natural next step. Despite the 6.75 aspect ratio it launches easily and moves as one piece in rough air, so the jump in aspect ratio asks little extra. If the Base still isn't comfortable in varied conditions, more time on it is the better choice.
