Niviuk Artik 5 (24) — A Comfortable EN-C That Climbs Well in Weak Thermals

The Artik 5 is comfortable in turbulence and asks little of the pilot, but that comfort alone doesn't make it a good first C. A high-end C pilot who can deal with tip collapses that arrive without warning on strong days, and with a turn that flattens in rough cores, gets the low workload and top-of-class climb in return. Pick the size so you fly near the top of the range. It flies fine at mid weight, but loaded high it pushes through strong-day air better and gives nothing away in weak conditions.
